[00:00:22] Simon: Hello and welcome. My name is Simon Javan Okelo, and you are listening to The Seed Field podcast. This podcast will celebrate and share stories from those that embody the spirit of Antioch University's founder, Horace Mann, who called on us to win victories for humanity. I will be supported here by my amazing co-host, Jasper Nighthawk.

[00:00:49] Jasper: In the coming months, we'll be releasing our first season as we interview scholars, faculty, thought leaders, and other members of the Antioch community. Here at Antioch University, we celebrate diversity. We celebrate deep thought and having the conversations that push us forward. We'll be talking about matters of social, environmental, and economic justice. These values are core to our university mission.
